Azienda Agricola Melise

Since 2003, the Melise Farm has been operating in the picturesque countryside around Castel del Giudice, with a clear and ambitious mission: to reclaim agricultural land that has been abandoned or left to fall into disuse, and to breathe new life into it through the organic cultivation of apples and other crops. Melise is not just a farm, but a model of territorial, environmental and social regeneration.
Guided by a deep respect for the landscape and the identity of the Molise region, Melise promotes certified organic production, based on in-depth knowledge of local resources and sustainable practices. Every stage of the production cycle – from soil preparation to harvesting, processing and marketing – is traceable and transparent, offering consumers the assurance of a healthy, safe and authentic product.
In addition to the quality of its produce, Melise stands out for its positive impact on the local socio-economic fabric: it creates opportunities for young farmers, supports short supply chains and encourages people to remain active in the inland areas of Upper Molise. The farm aims to build a profitable and environmentally friendly agricultural economy, whilst promoting the region’s traditional character, biodiversity and historical and cultural distinctiveness.
Melise’s philosophy goes beyond organic certification: it focuses on a form of agriculture that sets itself apart through quality, traceability and a strong connection to the land, restoring tangible and lasting value to the landscape. The result? Organic apples and agricultural produce of the highest quality, an authentic expression of a region that looks to the future without forsaking its roots.
