Parco dei Buoi

Parco dei Buoi is a farm with longstanding experience in the production of organic extra virgin olive oil and fresh products, driven by a deep respect for the land and a commitment to quality. Located in the Molise countryside, the farm offers an authentic experience rooted in sustainable cultivation practices and a passion for tradition.
At the heart of the property stands “La Casa di Parco dei Buoi,” built in the 1930s using hand-crafted bricks transported from a nearby kiln in San Martino in Pensilis by ox-drawn carts. Over the decades, the house has played many roles in the rural community: a general store selling bulk food items, a countryside school for local children and adults, a stable for cows and calves, and a shelter during the 1943 frontline advance, where multiple families found refuge.
In the 1960s, the house became a gathering place for the community, where people would come together to watch national television broadcasts such as Sanremo and Canzonissima. It served as a space for celebrations, social life, and hard work—witnessing the joys and challenges of rural life.
Today, the house has been restored and adapted to modern needs. It hosts the farm’s olive mill, storage and packaging facilities, a breakfast room, and four comfortable guest rooms on the upper floor. It is designed for visitors seeking peace and a genuine countryside experience, surrounded by the scents and rhythms of unspoiled nature. A place where history and hospitality come together in the spirit of tradition.
