The Antonio Giordano Award (PAG) is an urban art project designed to promote visual arts in all their forms, with a focus on contemporary languages. Dedicated to Antonio Giordano, a key figure of the Transavantgarde, the PAG is more than just an event—it’s a creative hub that engages the local community.
Since 2013, the small town of Santa Croce di Magliano has turned into an open-air artist’s residence, hosting over 30 murals by internationally renowned artists like Millo, Zed1, MrThoms, and Bosoletti. These artworks, each unique in style and technique, redefine urban spaces and enrich the town’s cultural identity event—it’s a creative hub that engages the local community.
One of the most fascinating interventions is “Steps” by Nico Skolp, a public staircase transformed using “generative design”, where colors and shapes shift based on pedestrian movement. Another striking piece is “The Rape of Europa” by Francisco Bosoletti, a reinterpretation of the myth symbolizing the historical migration between East and West.
What makes PAG truly special is its long-term impact—not just a short-lived event, but an artistic and cultural movement lasting five months, deeply engaging the community. A must-see experience for discovering Molise through contemporary art.
