In the heart of Molise, among the hills of the municipality of Guardiaregia, at the foot of the Matese Apennine range and immersed in the WWF Oasis, “Cantine di…Vine,” a food and wine event that celebrates local culinary traditions and the village’s hospitality, takes place every fall. Now in its twelfth edition in 2024, the event is held each year on three different days between October and November, transforming the historic center into a route full of flavors, music and conviviality.
Organized by the Municipality of Guardiaregia in collaboration with the “Clemente Colucci” Cultural and Folkloric Association, the event includes the opening of the town’s ancient cellars where visitors can taste typical dishes such as taccozze with beans, stuffed bacon and pork rinds and many others, accompanied by local wines. Along the route, the atmosphere is enlivened by traditional music and folk performances, offering an immersive experience in Molisian culture.
An experience to be savored step by step: an authentic journey among local food and wine excellence, where each winery tells its own story, bringing to the table the philosophy of a unique territory.
The event is an opportunity to enhance Guardiaregia’s food and wine and cultural heritage, while promoting sustainable tourism and the rediscovery of local traditions. The active participation of the community and the enthusiasm of visitors testify to the success of “Cantine di…Vine” as a must-attend event of the Molise autumn.
