This splendid structure is the result of a masterful renovation that transformed an ancient house, once belonging to a traditional fishing family, into a refined place of hospitality, without altering its authentic soul. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Paese Vecchio (the Old Town) of Termoli, it overlooks Via Duomo, once the main decumanus of the ancient settlement, now a charming walkway through narrow streets rich in history and tradition.
The building houses rooms, tastefully and modernly furnished, yet retaining all the charm of times gone by. The small terrace on the top floor is the highest point of the town, offering guests a spectacular view of the port, the true beating heart of the city. Some rooms overlook the town, while others have a direct view of the coast. The project aimed to enhance not only the traditions but also the culture of Termoli, showcasing, within the spaces used by guests, the work and life of the famous local designer Benito Jacovitti.
The sea, fishing, and fishermen define the traditions, life, and the very urban fabric of Paese Vecchio, a rocky promontory that magically rises from the sea. Today, Paese Vecchio can still offer those who stay there the sights, sounds, and scents of the past, creating a truly unique experience
