Agriturismo La Ginestra

Oasi della Ginestra, established in 1999 by the Rosa family, was created to celebrate and promote the natural, cultural, and culinary richness of the Molise region. Nestled in unspoiled nature, the agritourism is housed in a former rural farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s and offers an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation, authenticity, and a direct connection with local traditions.
Hospitality, genuine products, and personalized care are the hallmarks of the Oasi. The on-site farm produces much of the food served, including fresh handmade pasta made daily, traditional cold cuts and cheeses, which are also available for purchase at the Agrishop.
A wide range of activities is available: trekking, nature excursions, and guided visits to archaeological, cultural, and tourist sites across Molise, such as Altilia, Agnone, Riccia, and Campitello Matese. Castles, amphitheaters, historic villages, and regional dishes complete the experience.
The cuisine is rooted in ancient Molisan recipes, highlighting local ingredients such as farro (used for the signature “Ginestrelle”) and “cagliata”, a fresh cheese with a distinctive flavor. Meals are traditionally concluded with the “zolletta”, a sugar cube soaked in herbal infusion that balances sweet and balsamic notes.
Special attention is given to guests with food intolerances or vegetarian preferences, with personalized menus available upon request—guests are encouraged to communicate any dietary needs when booking.
The dining room seats over 60 guests and features three outdoor barbecues, perfect for enjoying one of the most appreciated experiences at the property: grilled meals in the open air.
