Caseificio La Masseria was born from the experience and passion of the Di Rienzo family, deeply rooted in their land. The business has its origins in a small cattle farm founded by Vittorio Di Rienzo and Maria Rosaria Lemme, a hardworking couple who turned livestock farming and milk production into a true family vocation.
From a young age, their sons Luciano and Mario worked alongside them, learning the craft and cultivating the idea of creating their own dairy business. In 2012, that vision became a reality with the founding of Caseificio La Masseria, now led by Luciano Di Rienzo and his wife Carmela Lemme.
The company’s philosophy is simple and genuine: respect for the rhythms of nature, care for their livestock, and a steadfast dedication to both farming and cheesemaking. Every day, La Masseria produces wholesome cheeses made from milk sourced directly from their own farm. This complete control over the supply chain ensures superior quality and a strong connection to the local land.
