Masseria La Guardata, managed by Rurality S.a.s., is the result of a meticulous restoration of a late 19th-century farmhouse. The renovation preserved the original architecture and beautiful Liberty-style furnishings, maintaining the charm of the historic building. Two old silos, once used for forage storage, now stand as iconic elements of the estate, bearing witness to its rural origins.
Located on a hill overlooking the Sinarca River Valley, the masseria is surrounded by a large plum orchard, which in spring offers a spectacular bloom highly valued by local beekeepers for honey production. The outdoor area is equipped with green spaces, a small lake, a river, and a wooded area, perfect for peaceful walks and relaxation. Just five minutes from the beaches of Termoli and the ferry to the Tremiti Islands, the location is ideal for exploring the Gargano and the inland Molise region.
The farm has six rooms furnished with period furniture, showcasing original architectural features such as vaulted ceilings and masonry arches. Modern comforts include air conditioning and color TV. Breakfast is served daily and features homemade pastries and jams. Guests may also visit the farm’s crops, including cereals, tomatoes, sugar beets, and sun-dried plums.
Two restaurant rooms, once animal shelters, now offer traditional Molise dishes prepared with creativity by Chef Raffaele Manzi. The facility hosts private events and celebrations and offers large outdoor areas, swings, and slides for children, making it a welcoming destination for families, couples, and groups seeking authentic flavors and countryside charm.
