Palazzo della Città is a historic 15th-century building located in the heart of Agnone’s old town, once serving as the city’s judicial and administrative center. Its imposing structure still testifies to the important role it played throughout local history.
Agnone lies between the Sangro and Trigno valleys, in an area characterized by an unspoiled natural environment of woods, streams, rivers, and clearings. The town is renowned for its centuries-old traditions, including the artisanal working of iron and copper and the production of bells for some of the world’s most prestigious churches, thanks to the ancient Marinelli foundry.
The palazzo has been renovated while preserving its original architecture, with rooms equipped with every comfort. The large common areas have been enhanced to create a lounge area and a meeting room, ideal for conferences and co-working activities.
The palazzo’s location is strategic, situated in one of the main squares of the village, Piazza del “Tomolo,” from which it is possible to reach on foot the main points of interest in Agnone, such as the Argentino Theater, the cathedral, and the ancient foundry.
Nearby is the main street, home to bars, pastry shops, dairies, and artisan shops, as well as supermarkets, a medical center, and a pharmacy. The staff at the palazzo provides constant support from arrival to departure, ensuring assistance for every need, from breakfast to the experiences offered.
