In the unspoiled heart of Alto Molise, nestled among the fragrant woods of Carovilli, Profumo di Bosco was born — a company specializing in the harvesting, processing, and sale of artisanal truffles and truffle-based products. As the first business in Molise dedicated entirely to truffles, Profumo di Bosco has become a reference point in the sector, with a story grounded in passion, dedication, and uncompromising quality.
At the helm is Antonina D’Aloise, the first woman in Molise to obtain an official license for truffle hunting. Without academic titles but armed with over thirty years of hands-on experience, Antonina has built her knowledge through fairs, events, and conferences, constantly refining her expertise with one goal in mind: to offer genuine, top-quality products.
The company sources fresh truffles directly from trusted local truffle hunters, selecting only the finest specimens. Part of the harvest is sold fresh, while the rest is transformed into gourmet specialties: pâtés, sauces, and truffle preparations preserved in extra virgin olive oil, all crafted in-house using traditional, fully artisanal methods.
Profumo di Bosco combines deep respect for tradition with rigorous quality control, promoting the excellence of the local territory. The result is a range of authentic Molise truffles — carefully selected and passionately crafted.
