In the heart of Molise, among the hills of the municipality of Guardiaregia, at the foot of the Matese range of the Apennines and nestled within the WWF Nature Reserve, “Cantine di…Vine” has been taking place every fall for years now—a true autumn food and wine tour that celebrates the local culinary traditions and the village’s hospitality. Now on its 14th edition, this year’s event will take place from October 23 to 25, turning the historic center into a journey rich in flavors, music, and conviviality.
Organized by the Municipality of Guardiaregia in collaboration with the “Clemente Colucci” Cultural and Folkloric Association, the event features the opening of the town’s historic wine cellars, where visitors can sample traditional dishes such as taccozze with beans, pancetta, and stuffed pork rinds, among many others, served with a selection of local wines. Along the route, the atmosphere is enlivened by traditional music and folkloric performances, offering an immersive experience in Molise’s culture. There will also be evening and nighttime entertainment, featuring musical performances and DJ sets.
