Opened in 2004, the museum unfolds through the village’s narrow alleys, where sculptures, paintings, and rural tools bring to life the history and traditions of a bygone era.
Part of the itinerary extends inside restored houses converted into exhibition rooms, creating an immersive and welcoming experience. Each stop is dedicated to a specific theme, showcasing objects, costumes, and historical documents that provide a glimpse into rural life. Hand-painted ceramic plaques elegantly narrate the different scenes along the path, adding a unique artistic touch.
Strolling through the village, visitors encounter sculptures of women washing clothes at the fountain, children playing traditional games, and recreated domestic settings featuring original tools used for farming and winemaking. Enhancing the experience, eight house facades feature stunning murals by emerging Italian artists, seamlessly blending innovation with tradition.
