Agriturismo “La Sorgente” was established in 2001, born from a deep love for the Molise region and the desire to create a small organic haven where authenticity and nature take center stage. Located in the heart of Molise, in the province of Isernia, the farm is nestled in the charming village of Macchiagodena, within a beautiful green oasis covering approximately 20 hectares of land. The name “La Sorgente” derives from an ancient spring found on the property. This fresh, pure water is still used today to irrigate the organic vegetable crops grown on-site.
Set against the backdrop of the majestic Matese mountain range, the agritourism farm is committed to sustainable and organic practices, offering guests a lifestyle in harmony with nature. In addition to its agricultural activities, the farm is also dedicated to promoting typical local products. A special tasting and retail area has been created within the facility, allowing guests to sample and purchase both the farm’s own produce—such as jams, vegetables, and liqueurs—and a curated selection of Molise’s finest traditional products, including cured meats, artisanal preserves, and regional specialties.
Agriturismo “La Sorgente” is an ideal destination for anyone wishing to discover the authentic flavors of Molise and experience the richness of its culinary traditions. However, in order to ensure maximum comfort for all guests, pets are not permitted, as the structure does not currently offer rooms or common areas equipped to accommodate animals.
