B&B Sul Tratturo

The “Sul Tratturo” Bed & Breakfast is located in Pescolanciano along the ancient path that shepherds used to move their flocks from the Abruzzese pastures to the sea. The term “tratturo” originates from Gabriele D’Annunzio’s dialect and traces its roots back to the Latin word “troere,” meaning to transport, lead, or drag. The tratturo is not just an ancient road, but a metaphor for the journey and life itself, a slow path filled with the sounds and scents of nature.
The house, built in the 1960s, still retains the characteristics of traditional homes designed to accommodate multiple generations and support daily activities like bread-making, vegetable cultivation, and animal farming. Recently renovated, the building is arranged on two floors with independent entrances. On the upper floor, there are three comfortable rooms, ideal for singles, couples, and families, with a total of six beds. Each room is equipped with a TV, and the accommodation offers two shared bathrooms with showers. The spacious living room with a kitchenette is the perfect place to relax. Every morning, guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast with fresh, high-quality products. The B&B is the perfect place for a peaceful break, immersed in the history and nature of Molise.
