The Amicone family’s business has its roots in 1995, when it was founded as an artisanal dairy specializing in the production of cheeses and cured meats made according to the oldest Molisani traditions. Over the years, a deep love for the land and a desire to offer authentic hospitality led to the transformation into an agriturismo in 2005, while maintaining its commitment to the genuineness of its products and family-style hospitality.
Located in a recently renovated building, the agriturismo now offers typical Molisani dishes, prepared using exclusively ingredients sourced from the family farm. Meals are served in a charming restaurant with a fireplace, where the warmth of the setting blends with the intoxicating aroma of grilled dishes, creating a cozy and evocative atmosphere.
The in-house production of cheeses and cured meats is the true highlight of the establishment. Soppressata, sausages, caciocavallo, scamorza, and fresh ricotta enrich hearty appetizers and rustic grilled dishes, offering an authentic journey through the flavours of the region.
The agriturismo also features four newly completed, spacious, and comfortable rooms designed to provide guests with a relaxing stay, immersed in the tranquillity of the Molisani countryside.
The name “Guado Cannavina” is inspired by the nearby locality, which recalls the ancient passage through the Cannavina forest—a place rich in charm and history. Here, time seems to have stood still, preserving unspoiled landscapes and genuine traditions.
Today, Agriturismo Guado Cannavina serves as a reference point for those wishing to rediscover the simplicity, authenticity, and beauty of rural life in a corner of Molise that tells its own story through flavours, scents, and silences.
